Arid Rain

Posted by
Stephen Phillips (San Francisco, United States) on 13 May 2011 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

This sky was typical of the trip - I could clearly see the rains falling - sometimes heavily - but in the dry air, no water ever reached the ground. In fact - I never saw a single drop of rain on the windshield despite hours and hours of these clouds over three days.

Cool road shot, you can almost touch and feel the texture of the tarmac.
