I'm going to go back and continue the high-desert tour from my springtime trip in 2004. That is the Toiyabe Mountain Range, snow capped in the distance.

This is the end of Nevada State Highway 305 which brought me south from my lodgings in Battle Mountain. The tumbleweed image that I posted last week was taken along this road, now behind me. Here, I turn left onto U.S. Highway 50 through Nevada - "The Loneliest Road in America"
