Are We There Yet?

Not the best plan when visiting the Beach Boardwalk. This would allow one to avoid the paid parking which is just about everywhere near the Boardwalk in Santa Cruz. But managing to get UN-parked from this spot is going to cost a bundle...

Ironic - I've just been reading about thousands of tons of Japanese tsunami debris slowly making its way across the Pacific towards the west coast of America. You never know what you might find on your beaches in the future.

@yz: This is fairly common and actually, this is the second boat I've seen washed ashore at this same spot. The boat moors just off shore and the crew beds down. Then, overnight for whatever reason the mooring line snaps and the tide carries the vessel to the beach.
