A new day at The Gate

Posted by

Yesterday at the Golden Gate Bridge

...another day at the office...

The foreground water fill two channels that have been the flow in and out of the Crissy Field Tidal Marsh. Gentle seas and a very low tide have cut the flow temporarily as the beach presently forms a natural dam. So, on this warm and very calm morning - we have a pair of mirrors sitting in the sand!

I was wondering where the heck you were when I first looked at this photo. Great capture of a really unusual scene. Well seen, well shot.

I like the strong horizontal elements in the sand & water, echoed by the bridge.
