At The Old Pier (II)

Larger view:

Tomorrow - a 'nude' taken during this session. It is a modest nude by any measure but shows both Jesse's muscle tonality and her bravery. You won't believe the condition of this rickety old pier she was working on. I'm still shaking my head.

She really has the most beautiful hair and you have brought the best out of it.

@Curly: Jesse retired from modeling and has recently moved on to distant horizons. She is a dear friend and I miss her a lot.

Anthony Morgan Lambert from Bielefeld, Germany

Looks like it´s early morning and she´s enjoying the day already, only a hot cup of coffee is missing !!

@Anthony Morgan Lambert: Happy weekend, Anthony. Your assessment is correct. The early morning marine overcast was slowly burning off and the light was beautiful. This is Tomales Bay - a long hour's drive northwest from San Francisco and one of my favorite shoot locations. Here is a capture of Jesse from an earlier trip. We had just climbed out of the drink shortly before sunset and she was betraying slight tinges of blue. This is for you my friend:

Evelyne Dubos from Le Mans, France

Nice series, like her naturalness a lot...

@Evelyne Dubos: Thank you, Evelyne - Jesse elevates naturalness to a spiritual form.

Stephen from Canberra, Australia

Superb composition - I love the way Jesse becomes part of the structure of the pier - holding it together, from the way you describe it!

@Stephen: Greetings, Stephen - and thanks. Jesse and I worked together a bunch of times. The first time, without hesitation - she would scamper up a tree or a vertical rock face to strike a pose. I was in awe at her athleticism. An avid dancer, horseback rider, and skateboarder - she is poetry in motion and a magical presence before the lens. I hope you can drop by tomorrow.

Marcie from Newton, United States
