Nightfall at Martinez Station - California
(first in a series of three images)
I have been returning here for the past three weeks after noticing the schedule. Every Saturday and Sunday - four passenger trains stop here between 6:19 and 6:40 PM. Two in each direction. At first I thought this was really odd. But then I noticed the buses and that the full schedule included a number of connection services. Having all of the trains here at one time means that they can all share these buses. Pretty smart.
Despite the rain - it is much lighter this night than it had been just two weeks earlier. Our daylight savings time will take this completely into bright daylight until late in the autumn. So I am glad I was here and that it was raining.
My plan is to return here again this Sunday evening. If there anything worth shooting - I'll try and post the images later in the week.
