Pretty good viewpoint for the bridge, and it looks just swell in black and white.

A beautiful black and white suits beautifully this bridge so famous and so grand

Great scene. I like the way the B&W isolates the interesting patterns in the water and sky.

I came so close to visiting these shores in April, but circumstances conspired to lead me astray and instead we visited other locations in Western BC and parts of the US. I have to come here, my very sinews are calling me. A wonderful frame, Stephen, with my feet in the surf, eyes surveying the beauty of the scenery. Superb in mono, a fabulous photograph.

A lovely crisp black and white, i love the whiteness of the crest on the tip of the wave on such a great back drop :)

It looks really like an "old" NG picture: a W&B very well balanced with all the shades of grey and the proper contrast. Two major lines give a long and fine perspective: that of the bridge itself and that of the breakers.
I like the serene atmosphere, like that of the fifties...
An inspiring work.

Achieving a great balance in capturing this engineering marvel. The location of the bridge was called The Golden Gate prior to its construction. In my youth, my girlfriend and I would walk across the bridge at night, during a storm. The wind would make a high pitched ringing sound as it went through the cables. It was like a sci-fy sound effect. The bridge would sway side to side and we could feel it move beneath us. It can sway an incredible 28 Ft. (8 meters) in a storm.

Love this view of the Golden Gate bridge Stephen. A rather unique and beautiful shot. The surf creates a serene mood with the ominous and magnificent bridge in the background. An excellent image in every respect.
