San Francisco

Crissy Field Pier - the westernmost facility in San Francisco ever build to secure a ship - though I haven't seen a vessel tie-up here in decades.

This image was taken ten minutes later than yesterday's as the sun shines directly through the towers of San Francisco's financial district. At far left is Alcatraz Island.

Canon 5D·mkII w/Canon16-35mm f/2.8 L series lens: ISO 50 - at 16mm - f/14 - 1/30th second

I was not aware of that about this pier - very interesting. And I like how things are lined up but at an oblique angle so that they are really NOT lined up - if that makes sense....totally cool.
