Daybreak at Crissy Field

Posted by
Stephen Phillips (San Francisco, United States) on 31 July 2010 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio.

A serene start to the day in San Francisco.

The gold appearing dome at center-right is The Palace of Fine Arts - beyond which is the downtown skyline. A thin crescent moon can be seen towards the right (you may need the larger view to find it).

David from Detroit, United States

This is such an unusual approach to a cityscape. It has the feel of an old Dutch landscape painting.

@David: Knowing the processes that went into creating those classic Dutch paintings, I will receive your words as high praise. Thank you, David.
