It's really grown up around the rails. I vaguely recall rails like this around the home of my grandma. We were sternly warned to stay off the tracks though because occasionally a train would appear without warning. Funny how this scene triggered that memory.

Isolated color. These are truly abandoned rails-- even an occasional train would polish the top surface of the steel.
