First Day of Spring (2010)

[tomorrow]: we got so many memorable images this day - but hands down the next image is my favorite from this series.

A beautiful field. I take it you don't have chiggers and tics:-)

24 Mar 2010 5:17am

@sherri: Thanks for the visit, Sherri. Having come here from the mid-Atlantic states, I was amazed. No chiggers at all. There are ticks - but they are rare (I've found two on me in 40 years). No gnats.

Paco Díaz from Palma de Mallorca, Spain

She always looks happy, I like her mood in the natural landscapes you choose, like here.

24 Mar 2010 6:17am

@Paco Díaz: Yes, Francisco - that pretty well describes her. I love being around her - Lacey bubbles with joy and optimism and even when confronted with a problem - she starts the search for the silver lining - "I know it's here somewhere!"

dobbino from Cape Town, South Africa

This is so beautiful, Stephen - the flowers almost look like water droplets. Stunning.

I like this picture more than the other series, the nature and integrates with the naked together. it would just remove the pestle.

Beautiful! Feels like she's surrounded by confetti or glitter.

24 Mar 2010 5:03pm

@Karthik: It is funny you say this, Karthik - Lacey frequently wears glitter and glitter is part of her email address. The one thing for certain - she is a celebration!

I bed those plants made her itch. ;-)

@B. Thomas: I am happy to report that you loose this bet. The plants are as dry as they appear but there was no discomfort rubbing against them.
