The soft shades of green make this a spring image. Wonderful idea to use the bridge as frame. Beautiful reflections and this use of her red hair.

Very beautiful shot, I like the framing with LF and I find this picture as a fantastic tribute to Venus celebration of Spring.
You are a classic, my friend!

@Paco Díaz: The 'Venus celebration of spring'. - couldn't have stated it better, Francisco. Thanks.

Curly from South Shields, United Kingdom

I think there could be a good case for a vignette or additional burning around the edges with this one Stephen, just to ensure that the viewers eyes are firmly focussed at the light at the end of the tunnel of the bridge. The lighter part of the bridge fascia and some of the riverside rocks keep dragging the eyes to the edge of the frame.

22 Mar 2010 2:20pm

@Curly: You may well be right my friend, but this is simply the opening salvo. Here - there may even be intent on my part - as those who are drawn away from the light at the end of this tunnel - deserve the rocks of their distractions. Happy springtime, Curly.

Awesome shot...she looks like a wood nymph, scurrying thru the forest........Great catch Stephen !!!!

23 Mar 2010 12:17am

@Susan: Thanks, Susan. The sun was playing through a thin layer of clouds all that afternoon. If I wasn't satisfied with the light one moment - we needed only wait a few minutes. Part of the great thing about working with Lacey - we are both patient. I look forward to your seeing Thursday's and Friday's images.
