Twilight on San Pablo Bay

Posted by
Stephen Phillips (San Francisco, United States) on 3 March 2010 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio.

A small creek in Pinole, California empties into San Pablo Bay. Some consider this body of water to be the north half of San Francisco Bay. What is surprising is that where I am standing here is less than 28 km (17 miles) from downtown San Francisco.

The essence of the mud flats. I've always considered this part of San Francisco bay, it's not like there is a door separating them. best...jerry
