Megnificent and gorgeous image, perfect body. I like very much this soft b/w, the reflections and the number plate of the license in the trailer. I'd like to travel inside :)

Curves everywhere...then I noticed the personalized plate. best...jerry

@ordinaryimages: Ah, Photoshop™ - we just happened along this touring-rig classic, shortly after we shot the crosswalk images (Kat Walk). One heck of a mirror. Adobe also allowed me to 'vanish' from the reflection with my bald knees and Bermuda shorts. Way too distracting - and not in any good sense. Thanks, Jerry.

yz from Budapest, Hungary

it works very well in bw

Wonderful shot, but how on earth do you do this?! :) Never, mind, dear old SF! Keep shooting Stephen.

BTW, thank you for the encouragement on the web site.

J'adore tes compositions et chaque fois j'imagine la réaction des gens qui assistent à tes mises en scène. Ce doit être de grands moments !!!

Almost like a sculpture. Now - I'm really wondering ..when and where you're managing to stage this???

Works so well in B&W with all the curves and reflections, very classy

What a creative reflection shot!

Ralph Jones from Detroit, United States

I love the photo, love the license plate and I think I am in love with Kat!

2 Mar 2010 1:54pm

@Ralph Jones: We just stumbled by this classic trailer. I couldn't allow the real license plate to be readable without a release for publication and didn't see any need to awaken the owners - this Photoshop® deception is the result. As to your feeling towards our fair model - she'll be reading this, so consider the message passed.

Curly from South Shields, United Kingdom

Top class shiny reflections, and she even has her name on the bus/trailer/caravan, how cool is that?

Kat is gorgeous and your street photography is phenomenal. Great eye for putting this scene together!

Jeff from Pembroke Dock, Wales., United Kingdom

You always seem to get more viewers than comments..."I wonder why ???"." ;>)

2 Mar 2010 6:51pm

@Jeff: Just leaving them 'speechless' it would appear, Jeff - thanks for the visit!

dobbino from Cape Town, South Africa

Just love this shot ( to say nothing about the lady - *phew*!!!) And I think this is one of those unbelievably rare occasions when motorists would stop before the stop sign!

sherri from Little Rock, Arkansas, United States

I take it she lives in the trailer most of the time? Spends a lot of time on the road? Greyscale is perfect for this one. Did you ever ask her why she chose to shave her head?

3 Mar 2010 2:47am

@sherri: Hey there, Sherri - as I mentioned to Jerry and Ralph - the license plate is my construction (Photoshop) - to avoid publishing the real plate number. We just happened upon the Airstream - shortly after our shoot in the crosswalk. Kat is a graduate student, professional model, and very gifted photographer who still shoots film. Her portfolio is amazing. You can see her work at katlove.com - - - Be sure to go to her 'self-portraits'. You'll have to ask her about her hair. Best - S.

Liang from San Francisco, United States

must be blistering cold to do shots like these on the streets, fine image in bw man!

k@ from Paris, France

Will you do an exhibition or a book of this fab serie ? Another masterpiece, love the glittering bus and the beautifully mirroring star of yours !

3 Mar 2010 10:02am

@k@: Thanks, Karine - for the generous words and suggestion. I don't know is the answer - setting a book up as a self publisher is considerable work. I've certainly entertained the thought. Your gentle nudge is appreciated.

Susan from Fort Lauderdale, United States

so does that mean you also photoshopped in the name on the license tag????? what a great shot stephen......how did you find such an empty street?????

4 Mar 2010 1:48am

Anthony Morgan Lambert from Bielefeld(old West Wales boy), Germany

A great model, great scene(there were people sleeping inside ??),great B+W conversion and of course great composition !! Top shot Stephen !!

4 Mar 2010 11:19am

@Anthony Morgan Lambert: Hey, Anthony - great to hear from you - I hope you are getting about much better these days. As to people sleeping in the trailer - we don't know. Stealth artists of the dawn - we tip-toed in and out and were gone. Heavens knows - we wouldn't want to create a scene!?!

Twelvebit from Victoria, United States

Nicely done, and I approve of you removing your knees, while leaving hers in.
