It really is well-covered isn't it. All that "art" definitely is an assault on the senses. You have documented it well.

MARIANA from Waterloo, Canada

ah, what a busy traffic :)) another col shot from this BRIDGE series !

So did he have a can of spray paint in his backpack? Maybe more importantly, did you have a can of spray paint with you on this particular day? Hahaha! I like this shot Stephen.

Graffiti are certainly everywhere !
This old bridge in concrete reminds mine, "less decorated" (and without arches)... taken with my cellphone.

Michael from Shell village, United Kingdom

There's not much traffic Stephen, another great shot.

Walter from Watkinsville, United States

Great photos again of such an interesting bridge. Reminds me of this tree at Six Flags in Georgia by the Log Ride. It became a colorful spectacle as people left their gum attached to its bark.

willow from Chelsea, United States

Looks like eveyone who travels this bridge carries a can of spray paint with them. I like the motion of the cyclist.

3 Nov 2009 1:48am

@willow: This suggests cyclists with spray cans. Ummm - sounds dangerous.

John Maslowski from Dallas, PA, United States

Now that is one amazing graffiti covered bridge, great shot like the way you framed this one Stephen and the rider adds to this interesting setting.

sherri from Little Rock, Arkansas, United States

Exceptional shot. The amount of graffiti is unreal. If not for the man on the bicycle I would have thought this was a very secluded and possibly abandoned bridge.

4 Nov 2009 2:40pm

@sherri: Thanks, Sherri. Thanks for the visit. According to a 1993 survey - this bridge averages 900 motor vehicles crossing each day. The bridge is in a very productive agricultural region in the southern Sacramento Valley.
