a series of images - number 3

Posted by
Stephen Phillips (San Francisco, United States) on 29 May 2009 in Documentary & Street and Portfolio.

The same elevated freeway in them all - but, uh, uh, uh - that's not it.

Something in common with all of the images in this series.

I hadn't thought about it for years, but I used to write on paper like that upper graffiti. Nice memories you brought back to me with this capture.

Magda from Vancouver, Canada

I'm looking! Something in common with all of the images, eh?? How many more are there? I need to really take a closer look with my girls - their mind is much more open than mine is! (grin)

@Magda: Good morning from San Francisco, Magda - please don't spend too much time trying to figure this out. The answer is obscure and will become more so over the next several days. I suppose it is solvable. A clue appears up ahead. The series is loaded up for the time I'm away next week. It will conclude June 7th with the answer on June 8th.

Is it the blue painted steel girders of the flyover ???

29 May 2009 8:36am

@Anthony Morgan Lambert: These blue supports are the underside of the Central Freeway. Excellent guess - and I'll confess to a 'false lead' as they vanish tomorrow - and we won't see the blue supports again until the last day (June 7). So that might provide a clue. And we get a written clue soon. So, don't spend too much time with this - but I'm hoping we'll have a little fun here...

Marcie from United States

Love this series of 'street art'. I have to think that the common link is the 'art' itself?!?!?

@Marcie: A splendid guess - and I'll confess to another 'false lead' in this theme - as we get one more artwork tomorrow. But that's not it...

Calusarus from St Sorlin en Valloire, France

This series is really interesting.

Hmmm... I'm not even going to try and guess - a favorite quote from a favorite movie - "Sometimes you have to just let art flow over you." I love your art so let it flow!!!! Have a great trip next week.
