A Tribute to Lacey

Posted by
Stephen Phillips (San Francisco, United States) on 26 May 2009 in People & Portrait and Portfolio.

Lacey Field in a hillside meadow. Frequent visitors to this blog will recognize the hat from our series in February. We shot a week ago and I asked her to bring it along. Darn, I love this image!

To all my AM3 friends -

As many of you know, I'm currently involved in multiple work projects and have another client lined up when my current calendar clears. I'm also planing a trip up to Portland during the first week in June to visit my ailing mom. So forgive my far less frequent visits to our wonder-filled community. I miss the daily trip to your pages more than you know.

Tomorrow begins an series of images that I hope will be entertaining.

Know I'm thinking of you - and will visit as I can.

It's a very beautiful image, starting with the smile of Lacey. I like very much also the composition and sof b/w, and the depth and lines created by the grass in the pp. Very good.

I can see why you're partial to this shot......Great composition, and love that the grasses right in front of her are leaning in the way they are!! You'll be missed out here, but definitely understand that real life takes preference over fun!!!

@Susan: Thanks, Susan. I've reached a point in life where I have no separation in what is real, or fun, or anything else. It is all life and I love and cherish every moment.
