A Sunset All to Themselves

Posted by
Stephen Phillips (San Francisco, United States) on 21 May 2009 in Lifestyle & Culture and Portfolio.

A couple stroll along the water's edge in front on the Giant Dipper - Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk - California

A warm and peaceful May sunset along the central coast.

In another week - this place will be jammed with people and the stillness will be swallowed by the screams of vacationers - dropping and spinning on the many rides.

Lovely gentle evening light. There is a stillness to this that makes me hope the crowds never descend to disturb the scene, but I know they will. Sigh.

Ah Ha......all makes sense now!!!! thanks for pointing that out stephen!!!! looks like a great spot for shooting!!! when i go out on one of the fishing piers here, there's basically nothing back on the shoreline but a concrete jungle of condo buildings!!!!
