I really am going to have to try out some of these low angle shots,if my old Arthritic knees will allow it.This shot shows how great the results can be !!

2 Apr 2009 6:42am

@Anthony Lambert: For several years my knees were giving me the same troubles - I bought a good set of wearable knee pads at the hardware store - after making a conscious effort to use them frequently to get down on these old knees - I now rarely use them.

Chris from South Jersey, United States

beautiful scenery, and I like how the foreground rocks lead you into the picture.....I think I preferred yesterday's picture though with the reflections and colors in the sky....

2 Apr 2009 2:03pm

@Chris: Hey Chris - thanks. This one is my preference - I love the detail and warm colors against the hills. That is why I posted them both.

Walter from Watkinsville, United States

Very nice indeed. I have to ask, do you know what that black fuzzy thing is in the top left of the photo? Seems kind of odd and out of place.

3 Apr 2009 1:14am

@Walter: Ooops. That spot was on my 5D's sensor. I didn't want to deal with it in the rainy mists blowing off the Pacific that day - and so all of the images in this series have this. Leave it to me to not 'see' it on my favorite image that day's shooting. Hrumph! Thanks for the spotting, Walter - you were the only one that noted it.
