This is great - the sky is perfect and just seems to match the street scene perfectly! I love the clarity and the colors - again great shot - nice perspective looking down the street - you need to write an ebook on how to take great City shots!

lovely capture stephen.... wonderful presentation. Wondring where all the people are... :)

@Sharon: It was early - sun had just come up a few minutes before. They're still working on that first cup of coffee.

love how the stop sign makes the composition

Love this view of the city. What is the towering building in the distance? Beautiful soft colors!

13 Mar 2009 12:09pm

@Marcie: Thanks. I'm not sure which building you're referring to. The tall brown building is the Bank of America Building. The tall building in the furthest distance - center - is the relatively new St. Regis Hotel at 3rd and Mission Streets. An elegant 5 Star affair.

I'll never ever get tired of photos of San Francisco, I love the name Montgomery, strange ;)

13 Mar 2009 2:41pm

@Lorraine: Probably inspired by the famed San Francisco dry wall installer - Montgomery Malinowski De Ford.
