With the incredible number of world class restaurants in San Francisco - it might seem crazy that I would choose an eatery north of The Golden Gate as 'my favorite' - yet here we are.
Anytime someone visits me from out-of-town - I try to include a journey here for at least one of our meals. The cuisine is California-Italian. Fresh presentations and a menu that is frequently updated are their hallmarks. The food is dazzling. In nine yeas of frequent visits - I have never had a disappointing experience - not once. And the prices are most reasonable.
Lunch is joyful - and I love dining here on a rainy day. But dinner is the best. From their salads and wood fired pizzas; to their seafood soup (Zuppa di Pesce), to the duck or the flank steak or the lamb - unbeatable!
