Leaving Loleta (for now)

Posted by
Stephen Phillips (San Francisco, United States) on 1 October 2008 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

But as the sign up ahead might suggest...

...we'll be back.

[notebook]: I am out of town this week - so my AM3 visits will be spotty. My best to you all. 'Til when...

I want to know whats over the brow of this hill."not a through street" maybe the road ends just there and there´s nothing but a long drop ahead !!

@Anthony: Answer: Cows. Over that hill are a couple more houses - and lots and lots of cows.

Lorraine from Gatineau, Canada

And what a pleasure it has been visiting with you lol I love this parting photo, not sure which I prefer the background or foreground, they're both excellent :)

Zygene from morlaix, France

A beautiful call to the voyage. I do not speak English but I translate the texts with this site

@Zygene: Salutations, Zygene - aujourd'hui de Portland, en Oregon. J'ai utilisé plusieurs traducteurs, y compris «Babelfish». Au cours des deux dernières semaines, j'ai employé "Google Translate" - seulement en raison de Googles réputation de faire les choses avec un soin particulier:

Ces traductions ont été globalement efficace?

Je aimez votre travail et de la valeur de vos pensées.

@dj.tigersprout: What I do in frequency - you more than compensate for in range. I'll be back in town next week and will check-in with you then.

Do you ever wonder how the sign makers know how far you want the street to go through - I mean it probably does go through the next yard or so, doesn't it? Just a thought. I like the composition of this image - leaves room for the imagination to take the next curve in the road on its own.

@willow: Just as Lewis Carroll took us through the looking glass - the finest adventures are always in the realm of imagination...

'But I don't want to go among mad people,' said Alice. 'Oh, you can't help that,' said the cat. 'We're all mad here.' - l. carroll
