Ok Stephen, understand your comment, but what a great perspective with the highways and yellow sign!

@Thomas Griffioen: Where the sign once shown red - someone scrawled 'Stop' across the white in pencil. If you have a really good monitor and younger eyes than mine - you can see this. I find so much irony in this place.

Stop the highway above? Who knows? Classic photo, well done!

I like the composition of this. The way all the lines are running, and the angle at which you've captured them has resulted in a really striking image.

A beautiful shot. All those manmade lines work great and lead the eye in every corner of the picture!

You are right, Stephen... there is irony in this place. So many different lines and could they pack anything else into this area? It's a wonderful composition and very well done!

I'm just glad they posted the no parking sign 'cause that's where I woulda parked...lol...nice capture.

@sherri: Years ago - before keywords became part of image management - I took a transparency in Santa Cruz of a 'Stop' sign on a pole which also had attached to it - a sign reading ' No Stopping Anytime'. On the same pole! I'd love to know what pencil-pushing bureaucratic brain trusts came up with that actually being put together in reality.
