Trinidad Light

The lighthouse on the bluff above Trinidad Bay - Trinidad, California.

Because of its location on the cliff above the bay - it is the shortest darn lighthouse this photographer has ever encountered.

WOW nice to see that again!!!! I lived in a little house in Trinidad on Patricks Point drive while I went to school in Humboldt Co. What a great shot, and a memory jolt. Just love it on the North Coast.

@See The Light: Mary - I have many fond memories of this place and return here often. I love Agate Beach at Patrick's Point and Trinidad itself is a wonderful community. I could easily see living here.

It may be short but it makes for a terrific subject ... beautiful expansive view. The depth opens up before our very eyes in this image.

Gorgeous scenery here Stephen! Never been here -- where is it exactly? The angle is wonderful, giving the viewer the immediate and dominant detail of the lighthouse... and then as a huge and beautiful bonus, the rocky bay coastline w/ those wonderful rocky islands, the expansive horizon and sky great behind and beyond! Marvelous!
