...somewhere along the line the drain cover got knocked out of place and the water was draining out. Because of all of the suds - we didn't notice until the water reached the level of the jets and suddenly we had soapy jet-streams flying through the bubbles. It was exciting!

SOUL AFLAME from The bosom of Mother Nature, United Kingdom

Another superb image from the series, Stephen. Something interesting to me personally, and just an observation that may well be completely isolated, but To my eyes, the series turns from the playful and fun of earlier shots to something more 'artistic' when the eyes and brain detect a hint of breast or nipple. It alters the conception of the photograph, in my mind...... That probably makes no sense at all, but I guess what I'm saying is that it now becomes slightly more sexual, as though I, the viewer am being a little voyeuristic.

An excellent shot that really makes me think, and counters the balance between playful soap suds and artistic edge.

@SOUL AFLAME: Your comment and observation makes a great deal of sense, Paul. It is consistent with what the fine art nude has stood for historically. The female form is the powerful connection all humans share in the representation of life itself. As representation - the female nude in art evokes fragile, vulnerable, and receptive - against the male form - aggressive, dominant, projective. I suggest that the response you experienced is encoded in us.

@Susan: Mmm, it looks as though I opened myself to this. As an ardent feminist and humanist - so would I. My limited point was the traditional and historic representation of the nude in art.
