Grain Elevator

About 10 kilometers (6 miles) north of Winters, California.

If Wednesday took us to 'the best seat in the house' - then here is the theater. If you look carefully between the two silos furthest to the left - you can see the top of our chair behind that big white hose. The round steel door is just behind it. This will give you an idea of the scale of this 'silver palace' of rice storage.

@Bill Jennings: Thanks, Bill - this entire area of the Sacramento Valley is just ripe with photo opportunities. We are having a rare May series of rainstorms moving through central California - and I'm hoping to drive up to this area later today.
