@dogilicious: Completely joyous. What amazed me the most was that being in the same area on New Year's Eve - it seemed every cop who had ever lived on earth was there. Here - I didn't see a single police officer and the crowd - many with their kids - got along fine. Violently - but fine! Much laughter and beaming smiles abound.

Love the lighting on this picture, Steve. Excellent pic. The ECs are always a great hang out place, lots of eating joints, nice view of the Port and the East Bay. Truely living upto the traditions of the cosmopolitan SF. I am in luv with this city!

Your street shots always seem to be on the money. The sky in this shot is awesome. What kind of lens where you using I feel like there is a very mild fish eye effect or something along those lines.

Canon 5D w/ 16-35mm f/2.8 lens: ISO 800 - 16mm - f/2.8 @ 1/10th second. (hand-held - lucked out)
