The boat with the bright orange hull is a Pilot Boat - the white vessel in the corner is the passenger dining cruiser
'Spirit of San Francisco'. Telegraph Hill with Coit Tower at the top is at right.

Like the way the sun is shining on the road pilings on the left side,nice clean clear shot...Have you been aboard the Spirit, Stephen ? ,she sounds like a classy vessel..

@Jeff: Thanks so much Jeff. I've not been aboard but have spoken to several who have - they report what you suspect - it is indeed, classy. She is owned by the same folks who own 'The San Francisco Belle' - a new yet retro paddle boat stern-wheeler. Three times the size of the 'Spirit' - it is a fabulous dining and cruising experience. (I need to get some photographs)

@LeenaM: It was calm, Leena - but it was chill. I had gloves on because I was carrying my tripod. It warmed up nicely after the sun was up for a little while. Today here is amazing. Sunny and clear and about 21° C (70° F).
