Amazingly beautiful scene. Love the colors...especially the purple sky...and the streaks of light from the traffic.

This is fantastic - the sky color is incredible in this image - has a great color hugh and I love how you were able to either correct for lens distortion or level the camera to keep the lines perfectly vertical on the buildings - awesome clarity and color - one of my favorites so far!

@Scott Schilling: Thanks, Scott. The canon 16-35 mm lens is widely known for its minimum vertical distortion. I took care in where I placed the horizontal axis of the lens when setting the shot. I did use Adobe Photoshop to complete the distortion and perspective correction.

Beautiful scenery and capture. Especially i love the shadow on the building to the left, doesn't seem to fit quite in. Nicely done :)

@zahai: Hi, zahai - thanks. As I mentioned in the description - this image is at the gate to Chinatown. That shadow is from one of the traditional Chinese buildings along Grant Avenue.

What a beautiful shot Stephen. My wife and I love Chinatown in San Francisco. Haven't been there in a very long. Definitely an inspiring picture. Hope to go there again in my lifetime, which means I better make it fast. Lovely work Stephen.

Day, night, rain, fog, this city has it all and is a mecca for photos. No wonder you moved out there. Another great night time photo. I have to experiment with this some time. Just not tonight. Too cold and oh so windy here as the front moves in. We are preparing for teens this weekend. Now that's fireside weather for me.
