Delicious morning photo, I like the perspective, the lights, the panoramic of houses and the runner putting movement in the image. Very good.
I spent some weeks in SF 20 years ago. And I always love this city, Stephen.

I can see why it's a favorite - the composition is excellent. I like the bike in the foreground and the way the street leads the eye up the hill. Looks like a beautiful morning.

@JJ: Not to worry, JJ - this is the western edge of a long flat green space know as The Marina Green. It runs about 1.5 km ( 1 mile) between the homes along San Francisco's northern waterfront - and the yacht harbor at my back here. The prancing of joggers is near endless - from before the dawn and well into the night.

@sherri: Shhhh! Don't let Evie hear you talk like this! My guess Sherri, is you would make much good use of our fine public transit - but that with the boundless beauty of the coast and inland mountains - Evie would find many excuses to get out of town... Along with that camera!

A city that I'd love to visit, having seen so much in films and on TV. Those steep hills are the stuff of legend from so many car chase films that I grew up with. A terrific photograph

Stephen, great clarity and color - so much that I feel like I am standing right there in the photo. Beautiful work - I really like the catch of the person jogging and the guy fixing his bike - it adds a lot of additional interest for me.

@Walter: As you know Walter - nothing substitutes being some place - experiencing the light, the air, the people - and San Francisco does boast a good restaurant or two. All this to say - get your butt out here...
