@John Maslowski: Thanks, John - I actually caught this just before sunset on an overcast day. Night would have lost all of this 'jungle' of vegetation so I was happy to grab this when I did. Besides - the levee road along the Sacramento River - flowing at my back - is narrow with no shoulder. I doubt I would have felt safe enough at night for the traffic which flies along this section. I sure wouldn't want to be responsible for launching some weary motorist into the wide, deep, dark and ice-cold stream.
