@yz: It is still there. This capture was from 2006. I drove by there recently looking to update the image. The light wasn't nearly as good as it was back then - but the sign still stands.

@MontereyJohn: No neighborhood here, John - just those mostly deserted farms that stand along Highway 37, east of Novato - heading out towards Sears Point. You can actually drive right to this stop sign by turning south where the Lakeville Highway ends - at the junction of State 37. Keep your head down.

@JJ: A testimony to solid construction - that rail line has been dead for more than twenty years; so that sign has been standing there a long, long time.

@willow: Like I said to Sherri, you should see it in color - not a bit of red. Which gives me an idea...
