@grant: Rural areas in California tend to get signs shot at, too - though it seems more frequent in the deep south and the central plains.

@Observing: Well, Mike - I hadn't planned anything specific to Santa Monica - but hey - I'll take requests from the West Cheshire Shooter. Santa Monica images are now scheduled for December 16 -17-18. I hope to see you then.
