Rain Along the Eel River - the storm closes in...

@Suzanne Cummings: It was definitely wet - but this was one of those tropical systems we get from time to time - so it was delightfully mild. I was in a Hawaiian shirt and perfectly comfortable.

@Observing: It was well beyond a 'patter' - the sky really opened up. But I was prepared and frankly enjoyed everything about this pair of shots - this day - the whole trip. Thanks.

@Zygene: Il est magique ici. Lorsque j'ai arrêté la voiture, il a été le soleil ici. Mais j'ai pu voir la pluie venant du sud et de venir vers moi rapidement. Au moment où j'ai eu le trépied et la caméra fixée, il a été comme vous le voyez dans la première image (hier). A partir de ce moment jusqu'à ce que lorsque j'ai pris cette photo a été moins de deux minutes!

@willow: thanks. I just posted the little 'vote' feature in the past half hour, so good timing. I really appreciate the black & white - yet I think I prefer the color in this case - especially paired with yesterday's image showing the storm moving in - and then arriving.
