Shadows on the Highway

Late afternoon along Nicasio Valley Road - through the tiny town of Nicasio, California. Aside from the very popular 'Rancho Nicasio' bar and nightclub - and the Catholic Church - both off to my left here - this is about all there is to this town. Don't blink.

Interesting photo. The double yellow lines take us to nowhere, inviting to discover the details. Well done.
Lucky this was a peaceful town, or you could be hit by a car... ;)

@Rui: It is so peaceful - you can hear a car coming for quite a while. Now an electric car might be cause for concern. I would just hope they might pay some attention to the idiot photographer sitting in the middle of the highway...

Growing up in Atlanta, GA and taking a photo of this would get you to the hospital. Now in Watkinsville, GA, roads like this are abundant. Just watch out for the cow that escaped the fence or the tractor rolling down the road. Old trees and white fences. Wonderful.
