That is lovely, it's the kind of shot I like. The three trees and the mountains and clouds, it looks very stormy. We always think of Cal as being blazing sun.

@Observing: California is such a big place. The further north you go the wetter it gets. San Diego averages less than 8 inches (20 cm) of rain a year, Los Angeles 14 in. (35 cm), San Francisco 21 in. (53 cm), - and Eureka 60 in. (152 cm). This photograph was taken just south of Eureka.

@m.monsef: It was the Canon D60 - the 6.7 MP precursor to the 20D. I no longer have this camera but it is a good one.
