@Thomas Griffioen: Where the sign once shown red - someone scrawled 'Stop' across the white in pencil. If you have a really good monitor and younger eyes than mine - you can see this. I find so much irony in this place.

I like the composition of this. The way all the lines are running, and the angle at which you've captured them has resulted in a really striking image.

You are right, Stephen... there is irony in this place. So many different lines and could they pack anything else into this area? It's a wonderful composition and very well done!

@sherri: Years ago - before keywords became part of image management - I took a transparency in Santa Cruz of a 'Stop' sign on a pole which also had attached to it - a sign reading ' No Stopping Anytime'. On the same pole! I'd love to know what pencil-pushing bureaucratic brain trusts came up with that actually being put together in reality.
