@Anthony Lambert: Anthony - I love doing these fine art nudes to relax. It gives me an opportunity to get out-of-town and climb rocks and trails with beautiful young women - which is a proper way to exercise. Talking with these bright and energetic young women gives me hope for the future as they tend to be both aware and involved - and in working toward a better, cleaner, more human future.

wonderful work here Stephen -- lovely tones, great composition and detail! just a question: do you save your more 'full nudity' shots for your other website? i think this is the second nude i have seen on this site, but they have both been quite modest. (just noticing) will check your link tonight! excellent shot!

@dj.tigersprout: DJ - greetings and thanks. I have a Fine Arts Nudes Gallery within my own website. To a large degree - I believe in the 'when in Rome' philosophy of living life. I quickly observed that there were virtually no nudes at Aminus3 and that's fine. There is a time and place for all human expression - and I love that there are places on the internet where parents can see their kids getting a good exposure (pun intended) to photography. - AM3 certainly serves as such a place for most any parent. I respect that.

Great shot and it works well in black and white. As much as I've asked, nobody seems to want to pose nude for me. Maybe trying to convince friends isn't the answer. Thanks for your comment the other day. Any advice on trying to get pictures published would be of great help. It's something I've never gone into and seems a bit of a mine field.

@Mike: Greetings, Mike - On finding models, may I suggest trying 'Criagslist':

...I'm not sure of your proximity to London - but if you go on site, you'llfind a link to other locations throughout the UK. Make a listing under:

Communities > Artists

Be honest. say you're an experienced photographer wishing to expand your portfolio. Offer trade for prints and include other types of images for the model if that serves her needs. You might also consider posting boards at any local college art departments. They use models and students are always looking for extra income. You might be a god send to the model - and without breaking your bank. As to publication - don't think of it as a minefield - just submit, submit, submit. One of the best resources on this subject is Dan Heller:

His books are great and yet he makes most all of the information they contain available on his site.
