Beautiful lighting here Stephen -- did you join on the 12th of may? is this really your first posting on am3? didn't realize we both started within the same 2 weeks... This is an excellent and intriguing photo -- can't seem to figure it out why it holds my attention so... but the eyes are really haunting... seemingly a twist of fear and trust...? quite intense!

@dj.tigersprout: Yes, DJ - this is my first go around at AM3. And describing Jess as intense is fully justified. We shot this image in 2004 and worked closely together for two years. She is a good friend and doing well, living in Minnesota with her seven year old daughter. She is involved with holistic healing and producing music.
